Revise: Compilers and InterpretersCompilers and interpreters both perform translation, but they organise translation and execution differently. This affects how quickly programs run, how programmers investigate errors and how finished software is distributed.
Make direct comparisons: a compiler translates the whole program before execution, whereas an interpreter translates and executes one statement at a time.
Link each benefit to the situation. For distributing a finished game, an executable lets users run it without receiving the source code or compiler.
