Revise: Physical Properties and Material SelectionFor polymers, a softening temperature can be more useful: the material may become too soft to keep its shape before it is fully molten. Softening can take place over a temperature range. Some polymers can be softened by heating and reshaped repeatedly; others cannot, so the behaviour of the particular polymer must be checked.
