Revise: BloodBlood is a tissue consisting of plasma, with red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets suspended in it. Suspended means that these components are carried within the liquid rather than dissolved in it. Plasma makes up over half of blood's volume; most of the remainder consists of red blood cells.
