Define metallic bonding as the strong electrostatic attraction between positive metal ions and delocalised electrons, not simply as ‘sharing electrons’.
In a metallic bonding diagram, label the large positive particles as metal ions and the small negative particles as delocalised electrons.
For melting and boiling points, link strong metallic bonding to the large amount of energy needed to overcome it. Keep the qualifier ‘most metals’.
