Ethical argument

An ethical argument concerns what is right, wrong or fair. One argument in favour is that using a crop to improve nutrition or food supplies is right because it can reduce human suffering. An argument against is that humans should not deliberately transfer genes between species, because some people believe this is an unacceptable interference with living organisms.
