Revise: Application of Scientific ModelsThe assumption matters: if the object slows down or stops, its earlier speed will not give the correct prediction for the rest of the journey. Calculating an average speed for a completed journey does not mean the object moved at that speed throughout.

For a prediction, state any assumption that matters, such as an object continuing at the same speed.
When evaluating a model, link a specific assumption or omitted feature to its effect on the prediction or explanation.
