Paper 3
Revise: Funerary objects and grave contentsA funerary object, or grave good, is an object placed with a dead person as part of their burial. Mycenaean graves could contain weapons, jewellery, vessels and precious objects. These finds reveal more than what people owned: the selection of objects also tells us how the living wished to honour and represent the dead.
