Used by OCR
Paper 3
Revise: Funerary objects and grave contentsGrave Gamma (Γ) contained Circle B’s only death mask, made of electrum, an alloy of gold and silver. It was found over a dead man’s face. An amethyst seal stone engraved with a male head accompanied the same man.
Circle B’s death mask is made of electrum, a gold–silver alloy, not amber. Amber was used for other grave goods, including necklaces.
