Revise: Recycling PETViability still depends on what happens in practice. Bottles must be available in sufficient numbers, sorting and cleaning must remove unsuitable materials, and collection, transport and processing use energy and money. There must also be demand for the products made.
When explaining viability, give both a benefit, such as conserving raw materials, and a practical condition, such as effective sorting or sufficient demand.
