Revise: Dalton Atomic ModelAn atomic model is a way of representing what an atom is like. In the early nineteenth century, John Dalton pictured atoms as tiny, solid spheres that could not be divided into smaller parts. This helped explain why substances combine in fixed proportions, but Dalton had no evidence for anything inside an atom.
