For goods, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose made known to the seller, and conformity with the description. Product safety law also requires businesses to supply safe goods. These obligations affect how a business chooses suppliers, produces goods, checks products and deals with complaints.
