Revise: Eukaryotes and ProkaryotesBacteria are made from prokaryotic cells. Each bacterial cell has cytoplasm and a cell membrane, with a cell wall surrounding the membrane. Unlike a eukaryotic cell, it has no nucleus.

Revise: Cells and MicroscopyProkaryotic cells, including bacterial cells, do not have a nucleus. Their main genetic material is found free in the cytoplasm, commonly as a loop of DNA. This DNA still contains the instructions needed for the cell's structures, chemical reactions, growth and reproduction.
Do not say that a prokaryotic cell has no DNA. It has DNA in the cytoplasm rather than inside a nucleus, and it may also contain plasmids.
