Revise: Function of kidneysThe kidneys are the organs chiefly responsible for controlling how much water leaves the body in urine.
Do not confuse the kidneys with the bladder: kidneys produce urine and regulate water loss; the bladder only stores urine.
Avoid saying that the kidneys simply remove all water from the blood. They return a variable amount of filtered water to the blood.
