Revise: Inherited DisordersScreening is especially relevant when a family has a known risk of an inherited disorder. For example, if both parents carry the recessive cystic fibrosis allele, testing can distinguish an embryo with two recessive alleles from a carrier or an embryo with no recessive copy.
