Revise: ClassificationBacteria — prokaryotic organisms belonging to the bacterial group
When asked how genetic analysis changed classification, give the full chain: compare genetic sequences → identify similarities and differences → infer evolutionary relationships → separate Archaea from Bacteria → propose three domains.
Do not describe Archaea as simply another type of bacterium. Both Archaea and Bacteria are prokaryotic, but genetic evidence shows that they are distinct groups.
