Newton's First Law
What you need to know
Apply Newton's First Law to explain the motion of objects moving with uniform velocity, as well as objects changing speed or direction.
State Newton's First Law: if the resultant force acting on an object is zero, a stationary object remains stationary, and a moving object continues to move at the same velocity (same speed and direction).
