Chemical Equilibrium
What you need to know
Understand the concept of dynamic equilibrium in the context of chemical reactions.
Explain that equilibrium is achieved when a reversible reaction takes place in a closed apparatus that prevents the escape of reactants and products.
Describe that at chemical equilibrium, the rate of the forward reaction and the rate of the reverse reaction occur at exactly the same speed.
