Revise: Rates of changeA graph of percentage change needs a different interpretation. Positive values mean the original quantity increased; negative values mean it decreased; zero means no change over the stated interval.
Read the axis label carefully: a graph of percentage change is not a graph of the original values.
Use the original value as the denominator when calculating percentage change.
When a rate is already a percentage, distinguish a percentage-point change from a percentage change.
