Masculinity

Masculinity refers to the socially shaped expectations and qualities associated with being a man. A traditional model presents men as strong, authoritative and responsible for providing the household's income. The crisis of masculinity is the argument that some men experience uncertainty or anxiety about their identity when economic and social changes undermine these familiar roles.
