Revise: First Cause ArgumentBelievers identify this uncaused cause as God. It is a cosmological argument because it begins with the existence of the universe, rather than with a miracle or its apparent design.
Describe God as an uncaused cause, not as a being who caused himself: causing yourself would require existing before you existed.
