Revise: Contrasting Religious Beliefs on the Uses of WealthSome Christians practise tithing, giving one-tenth of their earnings. Its roots lie in Old Testament giving, including Deuteronomy 14:22. Other Christians give without following a fixed percentage.
Make the contrast explicit: both traditions encourage giving, but zakah is an obligatory religious duty for eligible Muslims, whereas not all Christians practise tithing.
