Sabr

The promised good news for the patient connects suffering with sabr: persevering faithfully through difficulty. Hardship can become an opportunity to develop patience, trust and moral strength. The test is not needed because Allah lacks knowledge of what people will do; it gives human beings the opportunity to live out their response.
