Avidya, spiritual ignorance, means misunderstanding that nature. Someone might identify entirely with their body, possessions or social status and assume that these can provide permanent security.
Use Mahabharata 5.39 precisely: Vidura links humility with concern for suffering, urges love and fair treatment of relatives, and teaches that scriptural knowledge should produce good conduct.
