The belief that the soul does not die when the body dies.
Revise: Life After DeathAt death, body and soul separate: the body decays, but the soul continues to exist. This is the immortality of the soul. Death therefore ends earthly life, but does not end a person’s existence.
Distinguish bodily resurrection from immortality of the soul. A soul continuing after death is not the same as a dead body being raised.

Revise: The AfterlifeImmortality of the soul means that a person’s soul continues to exist when their physical body dies. Resurrection means that the dead are raised to life again. Believing in the soul’s survival does not automatically mean believing that the body will return to life.
