Haemorrhage

Mark 5:24b–34 describes Jesus healing a woman with a haemorrhage, or persistent bleeding. A large crowd is following Jesus and pressing around him when she approaches. The crowd matters: her encounter begins with a small, unnoticed action rather than a public request for help.
