Revise: Sufi Ways of LifePractices include prayer, Qur'an recitation, dhikr, contemplation and fasting. Some traditions also use poetry, singing or movement. The precise combination depends on the order; there is no single ritual followed by all Sufis.

Use Surah 13:28 to explain the purpose of dhikr, rather than simply quoting it. The verse links remembrance of Allah with comfort in the heart.
When evaluating Sufi practices, explain why Muslims differ. A Muslim may value fasting and dhikr while questioning extreme austerity or particular rituals. The Prophet's teaching on moderate voluntary fasting supports this distinction.
