New Gokul Farm, at Bhaktivedanta Manor near Watford, provides a concrete example of Hindu cow protection. It cares for cows, bulls and oxen throughout their lives rather than sending them for slaughter when they cease to be useful. Cows provide milk, oxen work on the organic farm and bulls contribute to breeding the herd.
