Revise: Dependent arisingDependent arising, called paticcasamupada, is the Buddhist teaching that things and experiences arise because of causes and supporting conditions. It is also known as dependent origination. Nothing in this conditioned process exists entirely on its own.
Explain dependent arising using conditions and consequences, rather than only saying that everything is connected.
Do not describe dependent arising as fate. Changing the conditions can change what follows, including the continuation of suffering.
