Revise: Catholic Teaching on Sexual RelationshipsThe Catechism of the Catholic Church 2360 teaches that spouses’ physical intimacy is a sign and pledge of spiritual communion. Marriage between baptised people is a sacrament: a sacred relationship through which God’s grace is received. 2361 explains that sexuality concerns the whole person, not simply biology, and belongs within love in which spouses commit themselves totally until death.
