Big Bang

The Big Bang explains the universe’s expansion from an extremely hot, dense early state. It describes an evolving universe rather than one which has always remained unchanged. Accepting this explanation does not, by itself, require belief in a creator God.

The Big Bang theory explains the universe’s development from an extremely hot, dense early state. Space expanded, and the universe cooled; over time, matter formed the structures we observe, including stars and galaxies. This was not an ordinary explosion into an already empty surrounding space: the expansion concerns space itself.
