Abundance

Jesus calls his disciples over and tells them that she has put in more than all the other contributors. This seems surprising because the rich people have donated much larger amounts. He explains the difference: they have given from their abundance, whereas she has given from her poverty — ‘all she had to live on’ (Mark 12:44).
