Definition

The front region of the cerebrum, involved in planning, decision-making and retrieving stored memories.

The cerebrum is the main upper part and contains different lobes. These include the frontal lobe at the front and the temporal lobe at the side. The hippocampus lies deep within the temporal lobe.
