Revise: Characteristics of Clinical DepressionClinical depression is a mental health condition involving persistent low mood and/or loss of interest and enjoyment, together with other symptoms. It is more than feeling unhappy or fed up for a few days: symptoms can persist for weeks or months and make everyday activities difficult. Depression can follow a difficult event, but it can also develop without an obvious reason.
