Revise: ObedienceAdorno proposed that people with an authoritarian personality show strong respect for authority and social hierarchies. Their beliefs tend to be rigid, with little tolerance for different opinions. They may submit to powerful people while showing hostility towards those they regard as weaker or lower in status.

Link each disposition to the behaviour being explained: self-esteem to conformity, locus of control to crowd behaviour, morality to pro-social or anti-social behaviour, and authoritarian personality to obedience.
