Revise: Correlation, Causation and ProbabilitySuppose a person exposed to a suspected risk factor does not experience the outcome. That case does not show that the factor is harmless: an increased probability is not a guarantee. Similarly, one person who experiences the outcome after exposure does not show that the exposure caused it.
