Revise: Conversion of wave disturbancesThe alternating pressure of the arriving sound wave makes the eardrum vibrate in the same rhythm as the wave. Its vibrations pass through three tiny bones, the ossicles, to the inner ear. The ossicles help transmit and amplify the vibration.
