Revise: Nuclear Energy SourcesChemical reactions rearrange electrons, but nuclear reactions change the nucleus itself. Nuclear changes can release very large amounts of energy compared with chemical reactions involving similar quantities of material.
Say that energy is released or transferred during a nuclear reaction. Do not say that energy is created.
