Revise: Hypotheses, Planning and Scientific RationaleAn experimental strategy should make it possible to collect data safely, accurately and repeatably. Not every investigation is a test of a hypothesis: a procedure might instead be designed to make observations, explore an unfamiliar phenomenon, or produce or characterise a substance. In each case, the steps should follow logically from the purpose and show how the necessary observations or data will be obtained and checked.
