Revise: Ethics in sportSportsmanship, gamesmanship and deviance describe different approaches to these responsibilities. They apply not only to players but also to coaches, spectators and others involved in sport.
Etiquette and sportsmanship can overlap. Shaking hands follows an unwritten custom and also shows respect.
Gamesmanship is not sportsmanship simply because a performer avoids punishment: consider the spirit of the game.
