Prevalence

Prevalence means the proportion of a population with a condition. An obesity prevalence of 30% means 30 in every 100 people in that group are obese; it does not mean there are only 30 obese people. A graph labelled ‘overweight including obese’ measures a broader group than a graph labelled ‘obese’ alone.
