Revise: Major musclesThe hip flexors are a group of muscles at the front of the hip, where the thigh meets the pelvis. They help lift the thigh towards the trunk, such as when bringing the knee forwards during running. The gluteals form the buttocks at the back of the pelvis and help move the upper leg at the hip.
