Revise: Prevention of injuryA hazard is something that could cause harm. Risk concerns how likely that harm is and how serious it could be. A wet sports-hall floor is a hazard; a player slipping and injuring an ankle is a possible consequence.
Distinguish the hazard, the possible harm and the precaution. For example: a bag on a sports-hall floor could cause a trip, so remove it from the playing area.
