Revise: Geometric Construction ToolsA ruler has two jobs in geometry: its straight edge guides your pencil, and its scale measures length. To draw a line segment of a given length, mark its starting point, put the ruler’s 0 mark there and make a small mark at the required length. Draw between the two marks along the straight edge.
