Revise: Growing oppositionIn 1942, Hans Scholl and fellow medical students founded White Rose in Munich. Members included his sister Sophie Scholl, Christoph Probst, Willi Graf and Alexander Schmorell; Professor Kurt Huber also became involved.
Distinguish aims from results: White Rose called for resistance, but did not organise a mass uprising; the July plot aimed to remove Hitler, but failed.
