Weapons of mass destruction (WMD)

Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair argued that Iraqi weapons of mass destruction (WMD) threatened international security. WMD meant nuclear, chemical and biological weapons. The central question was whether Iraq still possessed prohibited weapons or had restarted programmes to produce them.
