Revise: Northern IndiaConquered territories also supplied revenue: income that a ruler could use to support his rule. His account of revenues in 1528 listed territories stretching from Bhira to Bihar, including Delhi and Agra. The attraction was therefore not merely treasure already accumulated, but continuing income from a large territory.
