Revise: The Institutions and Procedures of Athenian DemocracyThe ecclesia, or assembly, met at the Pnyx in Athens. All eligible male citizens could attend. Meetings were organised within the ten administrative divisions of the year, called prytanies, with four assembly meetings in each prytany.
