Paper 2
Revise: Improving Quality of Life: Urban PlanningUrban planning is about organising housing, infrastructure and services so that a city works better for its residents. For the urban poor, an improvement in quality of life might mean a safer home, reliable clean water or less risk of losing the land on which they live. Improving a neighbourhood therefore involves more than changing its appearance: it must address residents’ everyday needs.
