Revise: Global Atmospheric CirculationThese movements take place within the troposphere, the lowest layer of the atmosphere, where most weather occurs. In a simplified model, each hemisphere contains three circulation cells: the Hadley, Ferrel and Polar cells. Within each cell, air moves between the surface and higher levels of the troposphere, forming a circulation loop.
