Revise: Climate Change HistoryThe Little Ice Age, approximately AD 1300–1870, brought cooler conditions, including much colder winters in Europe and North America. Rivers and some coastal waters around the UK froze during severe winters. Despite its name, this was a cooler episode within our interglacial period, not a return to the extensive ice sheets of a full glacial period.
